School History

The year 2004-05, began the construction of the learning establishment students see today.
During the building process the construction took an unexpected halt due to the hurricanes.
Ridge was intended to be fully open in 2005-06 seasons, but the weather prevented it.
Ridge still opened but only four buildings were completed.
Construction workers remained on campus to finish the work.
Now three years since the 2005-06 season construction will begin anew.
July 2008, is the start of the freshman building construction, which will tentatively be called ‘The Ninth Grade Academy.’
The school will also attempt to get the four learning communities fully integrated into student life.
This will allow students to work with a smaller group of teachers.
